Meet Our Instructors
With decades of combined experience helping players improve their skills and enjoy the game of golf, the instructors at The Meadows at Mystic Lake will help take your game to the next level.
Justin Lick currently serves as the head golf professional at The Meadows at Mystic Lake after beginning his tenure at the award-winning course as an assistant golf professional in 2008.
Along with day-to-day operations, club fittings, and lessons, he works closely with the junior golf program and is ready to help golfers of all capabilities achieve their goals.
Justin’s passion for the game and teaching has allowed him to spend time learning under some of the best instructors in the game today. He obtained a degree in professional golf management from the Professional Golfers Career College (PGCC) in Temecula, California. While there, he studied under Tom Addis III, who served as the past president of the PGA, and Gordon Severson, who helped launch TaylorMade Golf.
Prior to joining the staff at The Meadows, Justin worked at Brackett’s Crossing Country Club and Interlachen Country Club. Outside of work, Justin enjoys hunting, ice fishing, and watching his kids play sports
David Anderson currently serves as an assistant golf professional at The Meadows at Mystic Lake after joining the award-winning course in 2022.
While golf can be complicated, David’s teaching philosophy is simple: provide instruction that is professional, easy to understand, and fun. All these components are designed to help unleash your potential. Beginners, competitive players, juniors, and adults have all benefited from David’s instruction.
Among his professional experience, David served as the head boy’s varsity golf coach at Eden Prairie High School from 2020-22.
As a player, he competed for the NCAA Division III men’s golf program at St. Thomas (MN), where he graduated in 2016. He has also competed in the Minnesota State Amateur and the Minnesota State Open, among other tournaments. David currently resides in his hometown of Eden Prairie, Minnesota.
Anthony Marksch currently serves as an assistant golf professional at The Meadows at Mystic Lake after joining the award-winning course in 2023.
With invaluable experience as an instructor, Anthony will provide individual lessons and group clinics for junior and adult golfers. He also established the PGA Jr. League at The Meadows and oversees its operation.
Prior to arriving at The Meadows at Mystic Lake, he spent seven years working at a pair of Arizona golf courses. At Skyline Country Club, Anthony established and coached the club's PGA Jr. League for four years while he also served as head teaching professional at the Arizona National Golf Club.
Beginning Golf Clinics
Are you ready to learn the basics of golf and have some fun? This is the sport of a lifetime, so any time is right to pick up a club and start playing! Our beginning golf clinics offer a great opportunity to learn new skills or can be used as a refresher if you have spent time away from the game.

Meadows Junior Golfers
The Meadows at Mystic Lake offers a great junior golf program available to children ages 6-12. We offer a great junior program for those looking to introduce their children to the game of golf.
Lessons will focus on etiquette, putting, chipping, and full-swing shots with woods and irons. The final day of lessons will include a comprehensive review of all lessons, Junior Golf Olympics, and awards.
Class sizes are limited to the first 20 participants registered in each age group, and participants will be split into groups of three.
Options are provided based on age range.
Weekly Sunday Junior Clinics Available from 10-11am
$20/session

Meadows Advanced Junior Golf Instruction
Designed for the serious junior golfer playing high school or tournament-level golf. This program will include individual instruction, playing lessons on the golf course, and development instruction for competition.
Instruction will focus on gaining distance and accuracy off the tee, how to play certain shots, setting up positions, selecting clubs, and how to get the most out of your score, and course management.
Video and shot analysis will be conducted on TrackMan ® technology.
Participants must be able to shoot a score of 90 or below on an 18-hole regulation golf course.
Custom Club Fitting
Play your best with professional club fitting from one of our extensively trained staff. Our facility uses TrackMan® technology and the visualization of ball flight to dial you in with correct length, lie angle, grip size and style, club loft, and set makeup to play your best. Gain confidence in your game and take your equipment to the next level!
